Our Guru

Sree Dhatre Namaha is guided by Brahmasri Dr. Kambhampati Chennakesava Sastri garu (బ్రహ్మశ్రీ డా. కంభంపాటి చెన్నకేశవ శాస్త్రి గారు), a Vedic scholar who explains the timeless knowledge of the Vedas, Itihasas and Puranas in simple language that everyone can understand.

Through discourses in Telugu and Hindi, training classes and camps, Sastri garu shows how Vedic wisdom applies to everyday life, health and well-being.

  • The origin of creation (Srishti)

  • Indra and his duty
  • Who is a true Vedic scholar, and the meaning of Vyasa Purnima / Guru Purnima
  • Dharmika Parishkaralu: dharmic remedies for life’s problems

Ramayanam Discourses

An ongoing series on the Srimad Ramayanam, beginning with the Balakanda, bringing out the values and lessons of Sri Rama’s life for today’s families.

Dharmika Parishkaralu Camps

We hold Dharmika Parishkaralu (ధార్మిక పరిష్కారములు) camps in places such as Vijayawada (Bhavanipuram), Bhimavaram, Macherla and Bapatla. At these camps, devotees take part in traditional practices such as Thotti Pooja and Beejakshara training classes, and share their experiences. See the Gallery for snapshots from our 2026 camps.

These practices are spiritual and traditional in nature and are not a substitute for medical treatment. Please continue to consult your doctor.

The Meaning of “Dhātā”

Dhātā (धाता) means “the Supporter” or “the One who sustains.” It is one of the thousand sacred names of Lord Vishnu in the Vishnu Sahasranama, and it honours the Divine as the foundation that holds up all of creation.

Chanting “Om Śrī Dhātre Namaḥ” offers our salutations to that all-supporting presence and reminds us that every being is held in divine care.

Our Mission

Sree Dhatre Namaha is a spiritual space dedicated to:

  • Explaining the true inner meaning of the Vedas in simple language
  • Sharing the Ramayanam and other scriptures through regular discourses
  • Offering dharmic guidance and remedies through camps and training classes
  • Keeping alive the traditions of worship, chanting and prayer
  • Passing on this wisdom to the next generation

Our Values

Bhakti (devotion), Seva (selfless service), Shraddha (faith) and Shanti (peace) guide everything we do. Everyone is welcome, whatever their background.
